Carsen Storey Shytle

Carsen is committed to fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, knowing they have a counselor who genuinely listens and deeply cares. Her counseling approach is rooted in authentic connection, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, encouraged, and valued.

Carsen is serving as a Clinical Masters Level Counseling Intern. She is able to offer reduced counseling fees. Carsen is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Auburn University. She practices under the clinical supervision of Kimberly Bishop, LPC, CPCS.

Carsen understands that life doesn’t always unfold the way we hope and that many seasons can often feel overwhelming. She believes meaningful counseling can empower clients to discover hope, recognize their strengths, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose. For clients who desire a Christ-centered approach, Carsen welcomes the integration of faith and prayer into the counseling process.
