Julianne Tanyel, APC
Julianne’s goal is to provide a safe place for clients to talk about anything that is on their minds and to process their emotions. She utilizes many elements of cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients explore the connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She also believes in a collaborative approach to counseling that helps clients to set goals and make changes in their lives. In addition, her therapeutic approach integrates her Christian faith when it is appropriate.
Julianne Tanyel
Julianne received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, where she previously received her Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Development. She spent a year working with adolescents in a residential treatment program before becoming a counselor with Lifeworks.
Julianne works with clients of all ages, especially adolescents and young adults, with a wide range of needs that include:
